About Katie
Katie's work focuses on transforming organizations through their most important asset - their people. With over 25 years of experience as a facilitator, consultant and coach, Katie has worked with individuals and teams to engage in courageous conversations, strengthen critical thinking skills and build trust.
As a Certified Dare to Lead™ Facilitator, she helps people develop the courage-building skills necessary to lead in an increasingly complex world. Katie is a possibility thinker with a direct, warm and authentic style, enabling her to build trust quickly. She uses her natural curiosity, intuition and humor to engage her clients and help them to become brave leaders. She has worked across many industries including healthcare, finance, technology, manufacturing, higher education, pharmaceutical, non-profits and more. Born and raised in Hawaii, Katie moved to California to attend Stanford University where her passion for understanding people and cultures led her to pursue a B.A. in Anthropology. She later paired her interest in personal development and self-expression to obtain an M.A. in Psychology / Dramatherapy from The California Institute of Integral Studies. Katie is a Certified Dare to Lead™ Facilitator, a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC), a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with the International Coach Federation, and holds certifications in The Birkman Method Assessment, The Leadership Circle 360 Profile and an Diversity and Inclusion certificate from Cornell University. |
